The KB-104 Hybrid Static Weapon is an IDI 75mm rifled automatic cannon designed to disrupt CASCA systems in order to deliver a smaller payload shell into vital areas. It was built on licenced technology from the GEO-3, though this technology was modified to great extent. The KB-104 fires high-explosive rounds that are given a strong static charge upon passing through the midsection of the barrel. This static charge disrupts charged armor in a specific area, allowing the high explosive round to pass through the composite armor layers more easily. Due to the nature of the static charge, each individual round doesn't always pass the charged armor, so the cannon was made to be automatic and able to fire about 90 rounds per minute. This makes it more of a surgical weapon than the GEO-3, and gunners must be specially trained in order to effectively use the KB-104. In the right hands, a KB-104 can render a target vehicle's charged armor practically useless; but it takes a lot of marksman skill as well as extensive prior knowledge of specific weak points on every potential target.

Unlike the GEO-3, the static charge disruption does not interfere with the charge system overall, it merely is able to open small holes for very breif periods of time. Thus, the KB-104 is unable to overload charge systems.

KB-104s are most commonly coupled with the NG-11 Sextant as their coaxial weapon.
